Financial Restructuring Group
Houlihan Lokey has the largest, most experienced worldwide financial restructuring practice of any investment banking firm with approximately 170 professionals in offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. In 2012, we worked on approximately 150 restructuring-related transactions on behalf of companies, their creditors and shareholders, and other constituents. Job Description
Financial analysts intern in Corporate Finance will work for a term of 3 months and might be extended based on performance. Intern may work on transactions that provide exposure to various client industries and investment banking services, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises, refinancings and leveraged buyouts. You will work with a talented, dedicated staff of professionals who will give you broad exposure to the many different issues and concerns affecting businesses today. You will research and analyze financial statements, financial modeling, presentation preparation, translations and data mining.
Qualifications
1. A B.A./B.S./B.B.A. in finance, accounting, business or applied economics is required, as is course work in accounting and finance.
2. Strong financial and computer skills, as well as a fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications, are recommended.
3. Work at least 4 days per week with ability to work long hours
4. Candidates must possess a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff, strong analytical abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
