System software and FPGA Development Intern
Description
The intern will be part of a very experienced research and development team in Intel China Communication Computing Lab, leading up to prove new system solutions for Intel IA-based base station . Will be responsible for IPMI software development on a customizable SoC.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a Master/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science
- Must have the unrestricted right to work as Intern
The ideal candidate has some basic experience building a system based SoC and FPGA, with in-depth knowledge of at least two of the following: Popular SoC software development, FPGA/RTL design, hardware debug, BIOS/driver development. Experience with SoC architecture and IPMI development is desired but not strictly required.
- The ability to ramp quickly on new and complex products in a dynamic environment is critical.
- The ability to work independently and multitask effectively
