Essential Responsibilities
Understand the technology of the design/integration of Steam turbine systems solutions
Define project scope content, prepare equipment & system configurations, define and issue functional requirements for system equipment and prepare overall system controls philosophy.
Provide system engineering ability and coordinate support to all the engineering and project management organizations involved (Customer, GE internal organizations, Consortium Partners, Architect Engineering etc.).
Technical ability to ensure that project/opportunity operational guarantees are met (i.e. output, efficiency, emissions, acoustics, startup times, etc.).
Steam Turbine System Integration and Optimization
Participate in all facets of assigned project such as: bid support, requisition support, operational requirements, vendor equipment evaluations, plant test philosophy development (for guarantee verifications), and operational problem resolutions.
Research, develop and enhance Steam Turbine/Power Island/ Utility Island/Water technologies/CHP/Tri-gen/Quad-gen pilots for GE product lines in the areas of performance, operability and cost optimization.
Significant engagement and support in initiatives: New Product Introduction, Plant Innovation and Competitiveness will be expected.
Provide technical consultation to various GE, marketing and international organizations on power plants.
Work with system team on combined cycle system integration and optimization for steam turbine perspective
Work with GE global team to bring matured new technology and apply in Chinese STG market
Help local partners with more localization for steam turbines and accessories
Help promote steam turbines into China EPC application in overseas.

Qualifications/Requirements:
BS or higher degree in Mechanical, Control or Electrical.
Solid influence, communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills).
Spirits of teamwork, external-focus, and self-motivation
Familiar with Engineering Software Auto CAD etc.
MS degree in Mechanical, electrical or Control Engineering.
Thermodynamic analysis skills.
