Position Description:
This is an intern position for Spirent’s Performance Analysis Wireless division. Responsibilities include but are not limited to building software components, generating automatic build script, maintaining the automatic build/test environment, develop testing system, which is capable of making performance and functionality test of components of wireless communication system, such as mobile, base station and etc, and running the sanity/regression tests for CDMA/UMTS/LTE products. The candidate needs to have some experience of script programming, object-oriented programming, and background of wireless telecommunication.
Major Responsibilities:
1.Maintain the existing automatic build server.
2.Create new script to meet new build requirements.
3.Create unit test cases for software components.
4.Implement the test solution using combination of MS. Net technologies/languages, such as Visual Basic .NET and Visual C++ .NET. Troubleshoot complex technical problems which involve software and hardware systems.
5.Execute unit test, integration test and system test of the implemented solution.
6.Run the sanity tests and regression tests for each milestone build, and report the bug/issue found during the tests.
7.Create tests procedure documents.
Qualifications Desired:
Education: The 1st year or 2nd year MSEE/MSCS students
Working Time: No less than 3 full days per week.
Duration: No less than 6 months.
Skills (Hardware, Software, Machine operations, etc.):
1.Following skills and knowledge are required.
2.Programming experience of Visual Studio 2010.
3.Knowledge of CDMA/UMTS/LTE radio access network, especially on air link Interface protocols.
4.Team player. Take initiative in daily work. Fast learner.
