RESPONSIBILITY
As part of the handset testing team,the validation intern will be responsible for device characterization toanalyze the compatibility of Gemalto’s telecommunication card based solutionswith evolving handsets. He/she wouldstudy new telecom features and execute testcases based on test plan.
MainObjectives
The main tasks related to this jobare:
- Learn and understand test plan
- Execute tests cases andanalysis test result
- Write testreport
- Raise any quality issues and make recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Education
· Engineering Degree with major in Telecommunication or Computer Science
Technical Skills
· Knowledge of SIM card specifications like UICC/USIM, SIM Toolkit, Global Platform
· Interest in telecom technology, especially device behavior and theirinterface with SIM cards and network
· Knowledge of validation methodology
Languages
· English: Reading andWriting
Personal Skills
· Good communication skills
· Good analytical skills,autonomous & thorough
· Strong sense of ownership
· Quick learning, positive
