Role Summary/Purpose o ITLP is the entry point to career at GE for CS/MIS major students. This program aims to develop and nurture future GE IT leaders.
o In the 2 years program, ITLP members are expected to complete 4 missions as a real business's project owner in 6 months each. Meanwhile members are supposed to complete training courses, which consists of not only technical but also business leadership
Essential Responsibilities oA two year program consisting of four six-month assignments
Hired into one GE Business – Students declare business preferences during recruiting process
Twelve weeks of training on topics including:
- Wide range of technology disciplines
- Finance / Accounting
- Leadership
- Business
- Project Management
- Exposure to senior level IT and business leaders
- Opportunities to build a global network of ITLPs across all of GE's businesses
Qualifications/Requirements o Work permission in China
o Minimum overall 3.0 GPA
o Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business (with IT-related minor or concentration)
o Passion for IT
o Internship or other relevant work experience in IT
o Strong analytical and technical skills
o Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom
o Relevant coursework in IT-related disciplines
o Geographic mobility
o Business / financial understanding a plus
o Fluency in both English and Chinese: writing and speaking
Desired Characteristics o Proven ability to lead change across large platforms / functional areas using innovative technology solutions
o Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong relationship management ability
o Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills at all levels of the organization as well as with external organizations

o Great passion on emerging technology and eager to adopt them in the company
