http://www.thomsonreuters.com We are seeking a talented student for full-time internship in Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property Management Services (IPMS) team. IPMS provides world-class intellectual property asset management products, consulting and implementation services to industry leading corporations, law firms, academic institutions and government agencies. As an intern you will work under the guidance of an experienced manager towards assigned goals, benefit from on the job training and mentoring, and receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills. You will also interact with other global teams and participate in projects that directly impact business value.

POSITION: Intern - Intellectual Property Management Services
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct research to collect industry specific benchmark data.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external uses.
Work closely with the IPMS team and sales team to support local business development.
Participate in product localization testing and documentation review to ensure quality standards are met.
Provide assistance to on-going implementation and consulting projects, such as information research, translations and review and compilation of deliverables etc.
Attend internal and external meetings as required.
Work on other tasks assigned by the team leader.
QUALIFICATIONS
University or post-graduate student in MBA, Law, Intellectual Property, Language or Technology areas.
Excellent communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English.
Ability to translate Chinese documents to English and vice versa.
Familiar with MS office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Good Team player and self-sufficient.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality results in time.
Available to work as least 4 days each week for a minimum of 6 months.
PREFERFERRED QUALIFICATION
Knowledge in intellectual property or business management
