Job Summary  
The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is looking for an intern to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will test Linux file systems, mainly NFS, CIFS, and autofs. You'll search for, analyze, report, and track kernel defects while verifying kernel bug fixes. You will also be encouraged to get involved in upstream testing, either by contributing test cases to upstream projects or by testing upstream kernels and reporting bugs to the community.
    
Primary Job Responsibilities  
      Write and update automatic test cases
    
      Carry out test cases and analyze results
    
      Review and test bugs
    
      Get involved in upstream testing
    
Required Skills  
      Background in Linux
    
      Knowledge of C or Shell scripting language
    
      The following are considered pluses:
    
          Community experience in reporting bugs and sending patches
    
          Familiarity with the open source community and development model
    
          Knowledge of file system implementation; familiarity with file system-related concepts and operation
