i.MX Systems Hardware Intern
Location: Shanghai/Suzhou/Tianjin
Responsibilities
- Support HW engineer to develop the validation test specifications, procedures and test plans, etc.
- Perform test activities such as Ethernet/HDMI/USB/SATA/DDR/PCIE/LVDS compliance test, Power subsystem, signal integrity, environmental, mechanical and reliability tests, safety compliance, etc.
- Write and publish test reports that are complete and accurate to meet the requirements of validation plans.
- Providing logistical support on deployed development platforms and reference designs
- Designing add-on and supplementary boards for development platforms.
- Assisting the Hardware team with platform updates, which include driving and coordinating activities for board rework, test, and re-deployment.
- Hands on experience on boards rework and solder.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above, majoring in electrical engineering, automation, electronic engineering, telecommunication, computer science or related disciplines.
- Excellent Cadence Orcad and Allegro knowledge.
- Excellent board-level debugs capability
- Familiar with diagnostic equipment such as Logic Analyzers, Scopes, protocol-analyzers, etc.
- Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
- Ability to own and drive resolution of technical issues
- Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic multi-geographical environment
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
- Software background with Windows* and Linux operating systems, as well as some working knowledge of programming and scripting languages (for example, C, BASIC, Perl, and others) would be an added advantage
- System knowledge in SOC, tablet, Automotive, Set-Top-Box and Digital TV platforms would be an added advantage
- Excellent communication/ Negotiation skill on electronic components sample request and sourcing
- Ability to develop effective partnerships with stakeholders and demonstrate excellent customer orientation
i.MX Systems Software Intern
Location: Shanghai/Suzhou
Responsibilities:
o Assist on customized BSP driver development (Android/Linux/FreeRTOS) based on i.MX SoC platform
o Assist on customized application development (Android/Linux/FreeRTOS) based on i.MX SoC platform
o Design system test cases for i.MX design-in deliveries and run the tests.
o Assist on i.MX customer support activities:
o Be responsible to create test environments and reproduce issues.
o Assist on issue troubleshooting
o Assist on i.MX document creation and review.
Requirements:
o Good programming skills on C language
o Java programming skill will be a good plus
o Familiar with embedded software driver development model is a good plus
o Hands-On experiences with Linux/Android/FreeRTOS BSP on ARM SoC is a good plus
o Strong capability for trouble shooting
o A good understanding of the interaction between software and hardware
o Experience with GIT is desired.
o Strong initiative and learning willingness.
o Good English ability in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
o Good communications and presentation skills
MCU Connectivity Engineering Intern
Location: Beijing
Responsibilities:
- Support connectivity devices applications
- Develop reference solutions for connectivity/IoT systems
- Documenting design and connectivity applications technical training
- Support sales/marketer/FAE and distributor for connectivity applications
- Work with customers to develop and analyze system and performance requirements
- Support designer, system engineer and product marketer engineer for connectivity product launch
Qualifications:
- 1st or 2nd year postgraduate student in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering
- Strong knowledge and experience in application development for connectivity applications, such as BLE and ZigBee
- Good understanding of microcontroller operation, microcontroller peripherals and systems (e.g. PWM outputs, A/D converters, etc)
- Good knowledge and experience in C/C++ and programming
- Good documentation skills, self-direction and motivation, strong analytical and problem solving skills are required
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Excellent English ability in listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Experience in Android or iOS apps development preferred
- Experience in BLE, ZigBee, Bluetooth or WiFI protocol preferred
- Experience in NXP connectivity chips preferred
MCU System Engineering Intern
Location: Beijing/Suzhou
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test demos/examples for NXP 32-bit ARM Cortex-M based MCUs
- Write partial or full design document, test report, user guide for demos/examples, as well as parts of cookbook for the related MCU peripherals
- Involve in the related code review and document review
- Assist the systems engineer to do board rework, and some of logistic work
- Assist marketing promotion activities
Qualifications:
- Pursing a Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or the related
- Skills in embedded software development in C/C++
- Some experience of using ARM Cortex-M based MCUs with KEIL/IAR
- Good knowledge of MCU serial peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
- Experience with NXP LPC/Kinetis MCU and SDK is an advantage
- Experience in hardware design is an advantage
- Knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems is an advantage
- Fluent written English skill
- Good interpersonal communication skill, team work, and self-motivated
