Job Summary
The Red Hat Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for a Quality Engineering Intern to join us in Beijing, China. You will work with a team in charge of testing our modern technology in the Linux domain, focusing on virtualization. This is a great opportunity to use your passion for software testing to test and improve components of our virtualization technologies alongside some of the brightest developers in the open source community.
Primary Job Responsibilities
o Work closely with developers to improve your understanding of technology subcomponents
o Create and maintain test plans and test cases, then review test cases with the team
o Identify areas of high risk and perform both manual and automated tests
o Work on bug reporting and verification
Required Skills
o Knowledge of Linux operating systems
o Experience administering Windows servers
o Ability to work under deadline pressure, quickly adapt to multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail
o Available to work 3+ days per week for 6+ months
o Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; multilingual skills are a plus
o Familiarity with virtualization technologies like KVM, Xen, Microsoft Hyper-V, or ESX is a big plus
o Relevant software testing experience is a plus

Job summary
The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is looking for an intern to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will work on testing our technology, with a focus on Red Hat Virtualization. You’ll work among the brightest developers in the open source community. We’ll need you to plan tests, review their results, and report bugs back to the community.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test new features for project releases
Work with the team to find solutions to various issues; reproduce issues and verify fixes

Required Skills
