The Red Hat Open Cluster Management team, a Red Hat-led, Ant Group-sponsored open source project, is looking for a Software Quality Engineering Intern to join us in Xi’an, China. In this role, you will work on a high-value project and strategic solution in Red Hat and an emerging star in the community for the hybrid cloud industry. You will work remotely with a team of bright talent at Red Hat and in the open source community. You’ll develop functions based on requirements from the community, or you will investigate and apply latest technologies to help build up observability and monitoring functionalities for the Open Container Manager system. Primary Job Responsibilities
1. Start your journey in the open source world
2. Gain experience using GitHub
3. Get a good practice for container and Kubernetes technologies
4. Gain understanding of hybrid cloud concepts and use case scenarios
5. Play with public cloud platforms

Required Skills
1. Enthusiastic about the latest technologies around cloud, containers, and microservices with a desire to contribute to community through innovation and collaboration
2. Good communication skills in English
3. Basic knowledge of Linux and some related experience
4. Basic knowledge of containers and Kubernetes
5. Knowledge of a programming language like Golang, etc., and some related experience
