Job Description

The Red Hat Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for a Software Quality Engineering Intern who is intrigued by how things work and constantly looks for ways to make them better to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will focus on the testing for virtualization components and cover various popular technologies. You will work as part of a team in charge of testing our innovative technology, focusing on virtualization. This is a great opportunity to test and improve components of our virtualization technologies alongside some of the brightest developers in the open source community.
  
Primary job responsibilities
  
Work closely with your team to improve your understanding of features and offerings
Create, review, execute, and maintain test plans and cases
Monitor and analyze automation failures
Discover, report, and verify bugs
Develop test automation
  
Required Skills
  
Passion, curiosity, and desire for testing and examining how things work internally
Experience with Linux-based OS, know basic linux cmd
Experience with Windows OS, know basic Windows cmd
Experience with Linux Bash, Python, Powershell is a plus
Strong sense of responsibility, can finish tasks before deadline
Available to work 4+ days per week for 6+ months
Basic written and verbal communication skills in English
