Job Summary
The Red Hat Global Support Delivery team is looking for a Technical Support Intern with good communication skills to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will learn from our team while working in a multicultural environment. You’ll also have the opportunity to study Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) technology and get the certificate.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Verify, organize, and update customer contact information
Guide customers on registering and using the Customer Portal
Answer customer‘s basic questions about the Red Hat subscription model
Support customers on basic issue of using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Call back customers to track and confirm the current status of the submitted technical issues
Required Skills
Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or related major
Good communication skills in English at CET4-level
Enjoy working with and assisting people
The following are considered a plus:
Experience in UNIX or Linux operating system
Experience in open source software
