Position: Field Research Assistant (FRA) Beijing
Emerging Asia is a strategy consulting firm. We work for leading international companies across various industries. Currently, we are engaged on a FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) project and need to recruit capable students as Field Research Assistants in Beijing.
The FRA role mainly involves data gathering and analysis. Candidate profile:
" Available for the duration of April 13 to April 30
" Able to make a time commitment: At least 4 days per week (working full time, or 6 days per week working part-time. Please note that this work can also be done on Saturday / Sunday if the person is available.
" An undergraduate or graduate student at a good university in Beijing
" Able to communicate in English, read documents, and do some basic data entry in English
" Campus extra curricular activity experience will be an advantage
" Dedicated, smart, with a keen interest in business
" Professional behavior and ability to meet deadlines
The project we are currently working on will require the FRA to visit various parts of Beijing and record some basic information about certain types of shops. We will reimburse you for subway/bus/taxi expenses and provide a daily stipend.
High performing FRAs will be invited to assist Emerging Asia on future assignments as well.

" 在项目期间保证足够的工作时间（4月13日至30日）：至少每周工作四天（最好能够全职或者工作6天。请注意，工作时间可以包括周六周日，因为收集数据不需要做班工作）
" 在读的重点大学本科生或研究生（必须人在北京）
" 能够运用英文进行沟通，阅读资料以及处理基本数据
" 具备学生活动经验更佳
" 工作投入、悟性好、对商业有浓厚兴趣
" 具备专业素质，能够在压力下按时完成任务
项目工作内容：访问北京各个主要地段，采集特定类型商店的基本信息。我们将报销人员工作交通费用（地铁/公交/出租），另外按日结算薪酬。
表现优秀的研究助理将受邀加入 Emerging Asia 日后更多的项目。
