Wind River Linux - FAST project Intern


Wind River Linux project is looking for candidate to assist with FAST development work. The FAST, Framework for Automated Software Test, is currently used internally by Wind River for automating the verification of Linux and Linux BSPs. You will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience and knowledge in software test automation framework and implementation, and experience in working in a global environment.


This challenging job will involve:

- Assist in improving the FAST GUI (Graphic User Interface)
- Assist in the enhancement of FAST functionalities and stability
- Provide technical help to FAST users
- Perform Linux BSP testing in the long run


Requirements:

- Fast learner, self-starter and detail oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Proficient in English
- Strong JavaScript and python/pylons programming skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML/mako experience
- Strong knowledge and bash scripting
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel and driver development
- Experience with mysql database is a plus
- Knowledge of dojo and dijit is preferable
- Knowledge of software testing methodology
- Knowledge and experience of C/C++ programming
- Working on a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 32 hours/week
