Statistics PhD Wanted - Project-based Recruitment

Requirements:
1.    Academically capable PhD majored in statistics or related areas. Strength in econometrics, applied time series analysis, multivariable linear regression.
2.    Good model building capability. Proficiency in at least one of the following software – R, Matlab, SPSS, SAS.
3.    Good academic writing capability. PUBLICATION is a MUST.
4.    Ranked top 10 or top 20% in the department.
5.    Capable of working for at least 3 days a week in May (weekends included).
6.    Transcripts and academic writing samples will be required for the interview.

Job Description:
Work in a research team focused on a specific topic in the finance area assigned by a world famous company based in UK. Design and implement the models and interpret the results.

The research assignment will conclude before Jun 1st.

Job Compensation:
1.    Compensation is project-based, CNY 5,000 upon the accomplishment of research assignments.
2.    Bonus of CNY 1,000 and further more is available depending on the performance.
3.    Long-term part-time or full-time job opportunities are open to the best performing candidates.
