Schlumberger Intern Program

1. The goals of the program

Firstly, I would like to welcome you to the Schlumberger Internship Program.

One objective of this program is to provide you with an opportunity to
experience Schlumberger culture, through the individual segment that you
have been assigned to for your intern period.

The other objective is to provide you with a chance to get more knowledge
from practice. Strengthen your ability to communicate with others.

I sincerely hope that the experience and the knowledge that you will gain
from this Internship program will bring forth a better understanding and
create more interest in Schlumberger, more important, could help you manage
your career plan.

2. How about the program

- Before your internship starting, you have to have safety training in
Tanggu base, we call that QHSE Training. You can learn various kinds of
safety knowledge for work, even for life from the training.

- You will be required to complete some special projects that your
mentor will give to you.

- During your internship, you will be assigned to one of bases of
Schlumberger within China (Tanggu / Shekou / Korla / Chengdu / Daqing) for
4-6 weeks (July/August), you will probably have a chance to pay a visit to
oilfield well site if the work need.

- At the end of the internship, there will be a presentation by your
group in Beijing office to show your life in Schlumberger, to share your
experience and knowledge getting from this program. (The topic of the
presentation will be noticed later)

3. How about the compensation and benefits

- Internship Salary

- You will earn an intern salary during internship RMB4000 per month
in total (salary RMB3000 + meals allowance RMB1000).

--The following expenses will be paid by Schlumberger directly or
reimbursed to you by Schlumberger:

- Pre-intern medical

- Travel from university to Assigned Location (airfare, etc…)

- Travel from assigned location back to university

- Any travel from your location to other spots, due to the operation
need

- Insurance


How to join the program

1. The candidates should major in engineering or applied science.

2. The candidates shall submit the CV (Both English and Chinese version) to
our mailbox before 12th, June:

3. E-mail format: Please write the application email in English
Subject format: "Name-Gender-Tel-Universitl"
   For example: "Zhang San-Male-1311000000-THU"

4. Students who are approved by Schlumberger will be invited to attend
Schlumberger internship interview, Schlumberger will finally decide
according to the general appraisal before the middle of June.
