Amazon is seeking experienced Software Development Engineer Intern to design and implement highly available, highly scalable e-commerce applications using Java/Oracle technologies. Define software requirements, scoping, architecture, and design. Serve as key technical resource in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance. Develop and test code, perform bug fixes, and provide on-call support for deployed software. Drive business appropriate technology choices. Provide work leadership for junior-level engineers, and resolve technical problems in timely fashion. This job provides opportunity to work with Amazon’s global development teams.
