Duration: 4-6 months, full time
Duty Station: HR Office, UNDP China, Beijing
Context:
With the increaseing needs on HR services to UNDP and other UN organizations in China, an intern is requested to assist the HR team to ensure high quality and consistent service delivery. The HR intern will be expected to promote a client-oriented result and in consistent with rules and regulations approach inof the Unit.
Main Responsibilities:
Under the guidance and supervision of the HR Officer/HR Associate, the intern is expected to perform the following responsibilities:
• Providing support to recruitment process including supporting vacancy announcements/job posting, screening of candidates, updating recruitment schedule, and assisting in interview arrangements
• Assisting in consolidating and categorizing HR related documents
• Providing logistic support to daily HR management, including routine correspondences drafting and meeting arrangement
• Assisting in collection and preparation of cost-recovery bills for HR services provided by UNDP to other agencies.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies:
• Enrolled in a graduate level degree programme, majored in Human Resources, Business or Public Administration ( Undergraduates are not allowed to be accepted by any affiliates of UN System as internship candidates given the internship policy)
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Good organizational and analytical skills
• Self- motivated and be responsible
• Strong service and client orientation
• Fluent in both written and oral English (highly professional English is expected)
• Full computer literacy
