Apple China R&D team recruiting an intern on natural language processing or related fields

Project Summary:
Research current colloquial Chinese language usage on the internet, email,  SMS, and other popular media.
- Refine existing Chinese linguistic data (dictionary, corpus: words/phrases) and do further work based on the refined data.
- Design and implement tools to track popular language usage patterns

Requirements:
- Education: Students in area of NLP of computer science, or related fields
- Have good knowledge on statistical language model. Experience on Chinese segmentation, Pinyin input methods etc. is a big plus.
- Good written and oral skills on both Chinese and English
- Ensure working at least 3 months, at least 3 days per week
