BU Description
The WebSphere Application Server (WAS) drives business agility by providing millions of developers and IT Architects with an innovative, performance-based foundation to build, reuse, run, integrate and manage Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications and services. From business critical and key enterprise-wide applications to the smallest departmental level applications, WAS offers the highest levels of reliability, availability, security and scalability.

WebSphere Server Development Department in CDL is an integral part of worldwide WebSphere Server Development organization, covers WebSphere Application Infrastructure products including WAS Base/ND, WAS on z/OS, WebSphere Virtual Enterprise, WebSphere eXtreme Scale, WebSphere Compute Grid, and WebSphere sMash. CDL WAS team owns the mission of WAS Family Products System Verification Test(SVT), WebSphere Serviceability Tools SVT, WAS Installation Development, and WAS Hypervisor Edition Development. The other mission of the team is to bridge China clients with WAS product development to build China info into product meanwhile help grow China market.

Job Responsibilities
WAS Installation Development

Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
Experience of Java SW design, implementation and testing.
Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming is essential. Understand software design principles.
Experience in different programming platforms: LINUX, WINDOWS, etc.
Experience in ISMP installation development, Eclipse plug-in development, Ant and wsadmin scripting is a plus.

Good knowledge of SW development and testing processes.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong team player, self-motivated, target driven and innovative thinking.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin. Good communication skills.

Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
M.S or B.S in computer science or equivalent.
