Job Description

Company: IBM China Software Development Laboratory (CDL)
Location: 中关村软件园Beijing
Duration: 6 months or longer
Due date: Jan15, 2010

Qualifications:
    * Reliable user interface (UI) design experience and showcase, e.g. icons design, layout design and other graphic effects
    * Strong design software skills, e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash and etc
    * Excellent aesthetic and concise design sense
    * Can meet deadline with quality deliverables

Preferred:
    * Strong curiosity to fresh ideas, quick learning and pursue perfection through iteration
    * Strong capability to visualize tangible and intangible concepts
    * Effective communication skills
    * Good teamwork

Mini Test

    * design a business style PowerPoint template (at least 2 pages, one is for cover, the other for the body), saved as *.pot or *.ppt format;
    * design an icon indicating "Properties". The "Properties" could be a tab in sidebar or an item in toolbar, into which user could select and adjust values related with editing, e.g. font size, font color, bullets and numbering, paragraph alignment, line style, table design, graphic brightness and etc. You should provide at least 4 *.psd files with pixels of 16*16, 32*32, 64*64, 128*128 respectively.
