Title: platform-videocodec-software-development intern

Job Description:    

Work in the exciting digital home environment and have the opportunity to set up, experience and test the latest digital home devices that seamlessly interact with each other. Such devices include Wi-Fi Mobile Internet Devices, wireless IP DECT phones, IPTV and high speed Internet access devices. Major responsibilities include:

- Understand the system functionality of products, design test cases and execute them
- Help set up digital home testing environment with interworking products
- Follow up the bug tracking and help developers to investigate problems
- Document “Product Validation Report / Status” for assigned project
- Focus on video-central issues


Required profile :    

- Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer/Telecommunication Engineering or related field
- Good knowledge on video codec algorithms, h.264, mpeg2, mpeg4, h.263 etc.
- Good knowledge of video stream methods, udp, rtp, mms, flv etc.
- Good knowledge on Linux operation and C programming.
- ARM experience is a good plus.
- Knowledge on SIMD & VLIW is a good plus.
- at least 3 working days each week
