1. Web Developer/ Prototyper Intern JD

Position: Web Developer/ Prototyper (Intern)

Yahoo! Beijing R & D Center is looking for an innovative and talented Web Developer/ Prototyper intern with strong developing skills to work on a diverse portfolio of Yahoo! projects. We seek a candidate who has strong personal motivation and the ability to get up to speed quickly on new web technologies, think creatively towards innovative user experiences, and rapidly turn ideas into concrete software prototypes.
Responsibilities:
• Create UI prototypes based on interaction design, including UI wireframes, UI diagrams, and so on.
• Make prototypes or mockups that are used in the user studies and usability tests.
Requirements:
• Bachelors/master in computer science or related technical major, or equivalent experience
• Rich experience in web applications, HTML, Javascript, CSS
• Familiar with Flash, WPF, etc.
• Skilled in one or more general purpose languages such as PHP, C#, Java and C++
• Prior experience in Mobile App development
• Self-directed learning, ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent team work
• Good English skills (comprehension, verbal and written)
Bonuses:
• Familiarity with the design process and popular design tools such as Visio, Photoshop and PowerPoint
• Full-time preferred
2. Designer Intern JD

Position: Interaction Designer (Intern)
Location: Beijing, China

Yahoo! Beijing R & D Center is looking for an innovative and talented interaction designer intern with good interaction and visual design skills to work on next-generation product prototypes for Yahoo!. We seek a candidate who has strong personal motivation and the ability to produce pixel-accurate mockups in Photoshop, intuitive user interface interaction flows, think creatively towards innovative user experiences, and rapidly turn ideas into prototype.
Responsibilities:
• Create user interface wireframes based on requirement.
• Participate in concept development and design ideation
• Create visual designs and Produce design specifications, storyboards, scenarios, design prototypes
• Work with web developers and engineers to deliver the final product
Requirements:
• Bachelor/master in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Architecture or related area, or equivalent experience
• Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator or other design tools
• Proven record of creating world-class icons and graphic design
• Excellent team work
• Good English skills (comprehension, verbal and written)
Bonuses:
• Experience with all major design, multimedia, and operating system software: Flash, Imageready, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Will be nice to have experience on using Maya, 3DMax, Director
• Full-time preferred
