*Position Summary*
  
Interns for the global support service software development team participating in the development of tools to improve our customer problem analysis, customer experience, or other support infrastructure and internal tooling.
*
Key Responsibilities*
  
    * As part of a tools and infrastructure development team, write
      software to deliver business value to Red Hat's Global Support
      Services organization.
    * Collaborate with developers across multiple region, departments
      and technologies as part of joint projects.
    * Work with business staff to understand requirements for features
    * Ensure ongoing quality of the application codebase through
      bugfixes, refactoring, and test automation
  
*Requirements*
  
    * Experience developing in software in Java or C++
    * Experience with a scripting language such as python
    * Experience writing software in Linux or another UNIX environment
    * Understanding of one or more of compilers, operating systems, and
      algorithms
    * Ability to work in a dynamic, challenging environment
    * Experience contributing to an opensource project is strongly desired
