Yahoo! Beijing R&D is looking for research engineers to work alongside our world-class engineers to deliver new features of our core products.
Engineers at Yahoo! Beijing R&D have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types, including: rapid prototype and proof-of-concept development, research engineering libraries, tools, and platforms for distributed computing and algorithm evaluation. The successful candidate will be passionate about software engineering yet able to thrive in a dynamic research environment.
Responsibilities:
In this position you would be working together with our engineers to develop novel features on Yahoo! SNS product. You will train and deliver machine learned models from our mass data and develop face detection/recognition algorithm on next generation SNS product.
Job Qualifications:
1. MS in related fields.
2. Good understanding on related theory and implementation approaches on face detection and recognition.
3. Passion about face detection and recognition algorithm.
Engineering implementation experiences on face detection and recognition algorithm is a plus.
4. Familiarity with related open source library, like opencv.
5. Proficiency in c/c++.
6. Good skill on data structure, algorithm.
7. Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
