vSphere QA Intern – Software QA Process Research - Beijing

VMware is seeking talented Software Testing or Software Engineering interns to join our vSphere QA team to do challenging research work. You will be responsible for researching the software QA process of our enterprise vSphere (ESX, vCenter etc.) products. You will work closely with all the stakeholders to come up with the research report and provide actionable plan to improve the software QA process of vSphere products. Your duties will include:

• Work in a company who is the global leader in virtualization solutions from the desktop to the datacenter.
• Be kept up to date on the most fascinating virtualization technology.
• Research on VMware Flagship vSphere products on software QA process (testability, supportability, inter-operability, efficiency etc.)
•Write report on the software QA process of vSphere products and provide actionable plan to improve software QA process

Requirements

•Ph.D or Master majoring in Software Testing or Software Engineering or related is required; Ph.D is preferred.
•Able to work fulltime for 3 to 6 months or longer since 2010 Sept.;
•Strong knowledge and/or research background on software engineering, software testing, software QA methodology and/or software life cycle etc.
•Experience in building complex system level software
•Working knowledge and hand on coding experience in C, C++ and Java
•Good problem analysis skills
•Excellent written and verbal English communications and organization skills
