Introduction to CSTL System z Development Organization:
The System z software development organization in CSTL is seeking software
engineers responsible for design, development and test of zOS and other
System z software products. These are challenging and high growth
opportunities for new initiatives, talent development and technical leadership
growth. This organization is an integral part of the STG System z global team. In
addition, Greater China is a major contributor for Mainframe revenue and new
footprints in the growth markets and our technical teams will support this
continued strategy.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Works with the world wide team on analyze requirements, design and
implementation of new functionality.
2. Maintain and enhance existing product for quality and other considerations.
3. Work across organization boundaries to achieve objectives.

Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications)
1. Proficient in at least one area listed below.
-- C/C++/Assembler
-- Java/J2EE/Dynamic Web Programming (such as HTTP, HTML, AJAX
JavaScript, Ajax/DOJO, CSS, etc.)
-- Script Programming (such as shell script, perl, python)
2. Unix/Linux programming experiences
3. Quick learner with strong problem solving ability
4. Good communication skills
5. Excellent in written and oral English

Personal Qualities:
1. Self-motivated,
2. Good team player
3. Open-minded
4. Creative thinking
5. Passion to business
6. Willing to give back

Solid Knowledge or rich experiences in following fields is a strong plus:
1. Good overall z/OS skills, including TSO/ISPF, Batch (JCL), z/OS operating
2. Software development processes and tools
3. Software development methodologies (e.g. Lean/Agile)

Qualifications (Education/Major/Certificates):
1. Master degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent, or
above.
2. Excellent written and oral English. Please provide the evidence of your
English skill level in your resume, e.g., the score of CET6, TOEFL, IELTS, or GRE,
etc.
