Summer Internship
Acorn Campus Ventures, a leading VC firm from Silicon Valley founded by successful Chinese entrepreneurs, is recruiting two summer interns. The position entails a range of responsibilities including industry research in the clean technology area and supporting management in various projects. Specifically, responsibilities will include industry research, due diligence and new fund formation. The position will also include frequent interaction with the management team and future partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidate 1- Cleantech Summer Associate
The firm is looking for a high energy individual who is a self-starter, can hit the ground running and will enjoy working as part of a small investing team in an entrepreneurial VC firm. Candidates should possess the following:
· Candidate must have a background in environmental engineering or a related area either academically or work experience.
· Candidate should have good verbal and written fluency in English and Chinese
· Strong Interpersonal Skills
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial environment
· Some experience in VC/PE is a plus but not a requirement
· Top-Tier Academic Credentials (undergraduate degree in engineering) and MBA desirable
No experience in VC/PE is required but a general willingness to learn and grow with the organization. This is a great way to acquire experience in VC/PE area.
