Position 1: Software Research Intern
Description
Autodesk Research drives product innovations through exploration of new ideas and technologies. Autodesk China Research Development (ACRD) works closely with Autodesk Research in US and Canada to explore and innovate. Responsibilities:
• Conduct original research in Autodesk interested areas, such like graphics, computer vision, HCI, cloud computing, SaaS, web computing, reality capture, augmented reality, simulation, modeling and reconstructing, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, etc.
• Implement advanced prototypes to integrate the research results into current or future Autodesk products.
• Work closely with researchers to create new ideas, resolve technical issues and propose realistic solutions.
Qualification:
• PhD or Master Degree in computer science or related fields.
• Strong research and implementation capability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good teamwork skills.

Position 2: Sustainable Design Validation Engineer (Intern)
Autodesk is looking for an innovative and talented sustainable design validation engineer intern. You will contribute to Autodesk's leadership in sustainable design by validating the result from our SaaS-based building performance analysis tool (Green Building Studio), as well as capabilities integrated with the AEC design product portfolio.
Requirements:
- M.S or equivalent in engineering, building science or related field
- Professional experience with building energy analysis
- Self-directed learning, ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent team player.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- At least 3 days per week available.
Position 3: Localization Intern
Job scope:
- Perform localization Manual Testing for Autodesk products.
- Complete other tasks lead assigned.
- Communicate with developers and other relevant colleagues.
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor or higher degree in CS, mechanics and other related field.
- Be able to work for 4 days a week.
- Good English skill.
- Have strong team work spirit.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, ACM or Inventor is preferred.
- Focus on details and be patient.
Position 4: AEC QA Intern
Responsibilities：
- Work to develop UI test script, and assist to maintain existing test script
- Run the regression automation test and report the bug
- Assist team to do some manual test
- Work with team to write the technical documents
- Assist to do some technical research, and develop the utilities tool or scripts
Requirements：
- Strong shell script programming, such as VBScript
- Basic knowledge of test automation
- Flexible and pro-active in resolving problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent written English
The following is a plus:
- Experience in Test Automation software tools and quality control tools, such as TestComplete
Education:
- BS or higher Degree in computer science or equivalent
Position 5: MFG SWD Intern
The intern will work on Solvers/ Meshing area to contribute to the development and the analysis of simulation algorithms and supporting software components of the Simulation Platform.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation of CAE software features
• Research and prototype FEA algorithms for CAE software
• Work with cross-functional product team including Product Design and QA
• Participate in Design and Code reviews to ensure that our design and code meets high standards
Required skills
• PhD / Master or equivalent degrees in Applied Mathematics / Applied Physics / Mechanics / Material Science / Mechanical Engineering, researching in the domain of FEA/Computational Math/Numerical Analysis
• Experience in FEA algorithm research
• Strong programming skills with C++
• Familiar with development knowledge on MS Windows platform
• Good English communication skills
Desired skills:
• Experience in CAD/CAE software development
• Experience in Agile process (Scrum, XP, etc)
• Experience in OpenMP/MPI programming
Position 6: CEG SQA Intern
Description
In this position, you will be working as an intern in a testing group responsible for validating a graphics engine or the applications built upon it by way of White-box or Black-box testing methods, developing test codes and cases and implementing the supporting tool for both testing and development purposes.
Qualifications
- Candidate pursuing CS or EE MS/Ph.D. is preferred;
- Computer Science background knowledge and related sense are required;
- Specialization in C\C++\C# programming and Object Oriented design concepts are required;
- Knowledge of the Windows environment and its development tools and programming are needed;
- Understanding of Computer Graphics technology or Programming experiences with MS DirectX or Opengl are highly recommended;
- Python, Windows batch or other scripting skills are recommended;
- Experiences with Autodesk AutoCad, 3DsMAX or other products are recommended;
- Knowledge of the MAC OSX environment and its programming is an excellent plus for this job;
- Website development and its corresponding DB design is a plus, too;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required;
- Strong independent analytical problem solving skills and discipline;
- Testing experiences, Unit Test, Regression Test or Performance Test, are nice to have;
- At least 4-day attendance to the work is required, and the internship is required to last for 6 months at least;
Locations
- Pudong office, Shanghai, China;
Intern working days: 3 days above per week, at least 6 months above.
