Prerequisites:

1.    Be able to work over 3 days a week for at least 3 months (some positions require at least 6 months).
2.    Enrolled as student during the whole internship period.

Responsibility:

We are targeting to find at least 2 data analyst interns to work on KPost project, the responsibility of the intern is to do access log analysis and user behavior mining, Classification features implementation and modeling. Because one of the markets of this project is Korea, an intern who understands Korean is required.

1.    Features design and implementation for content classification.
2.    Train and evaluate machine learning models.
3.    Extract user insights from large scale logs.
4.    Implement efficient and robust online system to do semantics mining and content classification.


Requirements:

For general candidates:
1.    Graduate student in computer science or related fields.
2.    Work onsite for at least 4 days in a week.
3.    Understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical data analysis methods.
4.    Familiar with C/C++ programming at Unix-like platform.
5.    Familiar with at least one scripting language such as Perl, Shell or Python.
6.    Understand Korean or Cantonese is plus.

For Korean language oriented candidates:
1.    Graduate student or advanced undergraduate student in computer science or related fields.
2.    Work onsite for at least 4 days in a week.
3.    Understand Korean, reading ability is required, writing and speaking is not mandatory.
4.    Familiar with programming at UNIX-like platform, demonstrated proficiency in text data processing.
5.    Understanding of NLP and data mining algorithms is strong plus.
