-Location:  Shanghai CTC
-Working Frequency: Full-time

Essential Responsibilities
* Draft and prosecute patent applications in both English and Mandarin;
* Work with research scientists/engineers to identify patentable inventions;
* Work closely with technologists and GE Business representatives to ensure the creation and protection of strategic intellectual property that impact GE Businesses;
* Conduct IP training for research scientists/engineers;
* Conduct on-line patent searching.

Qualification/Requirements
* Bachelor or master degree in power electronics or automation, power system, electrical engineering, power conversion system control, power conversion circuits, control, etc.
* Good at reading & writing in Mandarin & English (CET 6);
* Willing to develop as a patent professional;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Proficiency in computer skills;
* Energetic, passionate, motivated, customer focused, desire to win, action oriented and good team player.
* Strong legal/patent research and analytical skills is preferred;
* China patent agent qualification is preferred;
