B2 is the industry's most advanced database product(http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/db2/linux-unix-windows/). We keep introducing mature advanced technology into DB2 product. To releverage the power of these new feature, a lot of related work needs to be done. The candidate for this position is required to do new feature related development for highly complex, highly functional, and optimally performing DB2 server on Linux, Unix and Windows. The candidate will have chance to touch key technologies(DB2 architecture, compiler, runtime, pureXML, storage etc.) of this flagship product and work with world wide world-class team to deliver excellent works. The job responsibilities will include but not limited to :
    - new system/component/demo design, development and unit test for DB2 new features
    - Participating in design/code reviews of the new system/component/demo
This will be a very good opportunity for candidates who are interested in master key technology, advanced system design, challenging programming and involve a full breadth of database server and other knowledge. The candidate should gain an excellent grasp of the techniques involved in design and developing highly complex, highly functional and optimally performing system software.

Job requirements:
    - Bachelor or Master degree major in Computer Science or related(this is Intern hire, students in school are welcome)
    - Excellent communication skill;
    - Excellent written/spoken English;
    - Has rich experience in software development, strong technical skills on Java programming language;
    - Good knowledge and experience with database server will be a strong plus
    - Experienced on Unix/Linux platforms;

Work location: Beijing Shang Di, Software Park.
Work Duration: 6 months at least.
