报告摘要 Abstract
We first describe a simple electronic system introduced by Leon Chua, which exihibits many interesting dynamical phenomena, including bifurcations and chaos. This system shares some common properties with the well-known FitzHugn-Nagumo system. When lots of unit circuits are coupled, a PDE approximation is used for modeling. We study the existence and stability of some kind of traveling wave of the PDE system. The main tool we used to study the stability is the Evans function. It is the method of geometric singular perturbation that allows one to analyze the Evans function and prove the stability of the traveling wave.
