In this series of talks we are going to give an introduction to multi-symplectic geometry, a generalization of symplectic geometry which was originally developed to describe classical field theories in a covariant and finite-dimensional way. We will discuss the following topics:

* Darboux type theorems (What do multi-symplectic manifolds look like?)

* momentum geometry (from an $L_\infty$-algebra perspective)

* Reduction (from an algebraic viewpoint)
