The Devdiv Data Platform Team provides data engineering and analytic support for over 40 products in the Developer Division portfolio, including Visual Studio and VS Code.  We build data services to derive insights to help run our business, improve our products, and drive a deeper understanding of customer behaviors.  

In addition to managing petabytes of data, in this role you will be partnering with program managers, feature developers, and data scientists to utilize this data and translate it into actionable insights. Furthermore, you will be accountable for building and operationalizing critical components and tools to ensure the data meets the highest quality and integrity while also upholding global compliance and customer privacy.

Responsibilities
extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines, curations, and stores.
Make large-scale and complex data more discoverable and easier to use for all data consumers in the organization.
Improve data quality, reliability and latency by using & improving tools to automatically detect issues.
Contribute with fixing, enhancing, and supporting our services in production, including periodic on-call duties.
Participate actively in code reviews, bug/issue triage with the feature teams, and support well-informed decisions towards business and engineering goals.

5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying large-scale and high-performance systems with reliable monitoring and logging practices
5+ years of programming skills in at least one high level language: Python, Java, C++, C#
3+ years of experience building large real-time data pipelines and/or web services.
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field such as Statistics or Data Science

候选人最好是海外留学或985/211的正规全日制本科或硕士毕业后知名公司工作满3年以上，有编程建模竞赛得奖，leetcode排名或个人技术兴趣项目等。英文要听说读写熟练。工作认真负责，积极主动，能够快速学习，解决问题，团队合作能力良好。并且请确保在过去一年内，您没有在微软中国面试失败过，而且没有其他微软员工已帮您做过内部推荐。谢谢。

微软的标准面试流程是：如果简历合格，会有一小时电话面试，若通过，会再二三轮技术面试，如通过，会有1-2轮一线经理面试，然后二线经理面试，最后人力资源。每轮一个小时（视频，共享桌面，用编辑器写代码），社招面试主要关于数据结构，算法和之前项目经验，解决问题能力。务必好好准备（大多数候选人都失败在这里了），可以在谈面试日期时留出几天准备。
