It is feature of Windows OS, almost all of virus and trojans try them hard to inject to explorer.exe file, so, if you get infected by a lot of bad guys, you will get a worse and worse explorer.exe, one trick is to throw explorer.exe out of your office window! just try to install bblean to your windows system to replace explorer.exe as the desktop shell, and install totalcommand as a file manager, bblean + totalcmd will replace explorer.exe totally, lots of us on smth use these and we call ourselves 水木bt党，our slogan is "taskkill /f /im explorer.exe"
