the country’s infant milk formula market was down 10.7 per cent in value in the 2024 financial year, thanks in large part to a 6 per cent drop in China’s birth rate in 2023.

Large as that seems, it follows a 10 per cent fall in 2022, a 12 per cent fall in 2021 and an 18 per cent drop the year before.
