Theatre Camp Production – The Monkey King
If you like working with kids and creative people, are interested in theatre, or are just looking for work experience, then come apply as an intern at Beijing Playhouse’s Kids Theatre Camp. Interns will gain leadership and theatre experience assisting the camp staff and in participating in their interested field. Each intern will be assigned to a specific field of performance (acting, music, dance) or production (painting, costumes, set building) theatre, and will work directly with a teacher in their assigned field. Interns will also be required to set up and clean up for camp daily.

Compensation报酬: 300 RMB, plus lunch, snacks, and beverages are provided during camp.

Dates活动日期: Monday, February 15- Saturday, February 20, 2010, 8:30am-4:30pm every day. Time commitment also includes attending Open Registration Day Saturday, January 9th, Camp Orientation TBA (weekend before Camp begins), and weekly staff meetings and outside work with individual directors during the 3-4 weeks leading up to the camp.

Positions Acting Intern—Mainly responsible for assisting creative Director in
Available职位: teaching their class. Helps Creative Director block scenes and educate children on movement and characterization.
表演实习生—主要负责在课上协助表演老师教课，协助教小孩子表演动作和人物性格的表达
Line/Character Work Intern—Mainly responsible for working with camper to develop
their characters and lines (eg. memorization, pronunciation, character work)
台词/人物性格实习生—主要负责协助小孩儿读台词以及认识人物性格（比如：如何记忆，如何发音等）
Technical Intern—Mainly responsible for helping to paint sets/props and/or make
costumes. Should have some experience with drawing & painting and/or sewing.
技术实习生—主要负责协助道具的制作，喷漆及制作戏服。最好有画画，喷漆或缝纫的经验

About the Camp关于此营地活动
Campers learn how to act, sing, dance and make props and costumes during the one week Theatre Camp. Camp runs Monday, February 15-Saturday, February 20th from 9am to 4pm. Each day, students will have classes in acting, music, and dance and participate in making set, props, and costumes. The camp will culminate with a performance of an adaptation of “The Monkey King” for family, friends and the community on Saturday, Feb 20, 2010 at 2pm.
小孩子在营地活动期间学习如何表演，唱歌，跳舞，制作道具和服装。活动从2010年2月15日-20日每天9am-4pm。 在最后一天孩子们会通过一周的学习，完成一个舞台剧的表演”The Monkey King”
