I am a native English speaker from the United States and I will be staying o
n Beijing's Tsinghua campus for most of September.   I would like to explore
several of Beijing's morning markets and vegetable markets while I am in th
e city.  I would like to have a Mandarin-speaking conversation partner with
me when I go to these markets.  This would require that you have around 4 ho
urs of free time every weekday from August 28th to September 15th.  I am cur
rently a PhD student at the University of California and I am willing to hel
p you with your English when we meet.
Also, towards the end of September I will require an assistant for a researc
h project.  This assistant is a paid position.  If we are able to communicat
e well enough then I would be happy to hire you for this position as well.  
If you are interested in this position, please tell me how much you feel is
an appropriate salary.  This position will be required from September 18th t
o the 20th.
I would prefer to work with a male graduate student at or near Tsinghua Univ
ersity who is a native speaker of Standard Mandarin.
