Software Developer – Mobile Web (Beijing, China)
As a Software Developer, you will build social networking features that are used by millions of people just days after you commit your code. We are building a multi-tier mobile web, using PHP, and JavaScript/DHTML for front-end, and Java and Oracle for back-end development. This position focuses on building out new mobile web features for current Tagged products, like Newsfeed, Photos, Profile, Friends, etc. We have a fast-paced development process and a high-performance, flexible team structure. Our development cycle is rapid, iterative, and driven by metrics and analytics.
 
You will be working primarily in PHP, and/or HTML/CSS/JavaScript. We've got plenty of projects across our technology stack so you'll be able to choose which areas you'd like to work in.
Minimum Qualifications
Enthusiasm for startup work
Stellar problem solving and coding skills
Proficient skills with PHP, HTML/CSS, and/or JavaScript
Extensive programming experiences - any widely used language is fine
Hands-on experiences with diagnosis tools of web application
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-paced, informal startup environment
Passion for consumer web products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
Additional Qualifications
Familiar with Java server-side development
Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and relational database design
Exposure to high-performance and large-scale computing challenges
Familiar with AJAX web development and REST web services
Previously built a web application for Facebook, OpenSocial, or other social networks.
Contributed to open source software projects
Strong math or statistics skills
The ideal candidate is willing to relocate and work in Beijing China.
