Intern - Virtualization(Automation)

We are actively seeking for candidates with a strong development skill to join us as Quality Engineer (Automation). Successful candidates will work in a Team which is always involved in the latest technology in the Linux domain such as Virtualisation and Automating Test Cases with Open Source toolchain such as kvm-autotest. Hence, this role will be highly suitable for someone pursuring a career in Software Testing.

Some of the core responsibilities include:

1. Working closely with developers in order to improve understanding of technology sub-components
2. Create and maintain Test Plan
3. Create and maintain Test Scripts
4. Involved in Patch Review
5. Bug reporting and verifications
6. Queue automation jobs
7. Analyse automation failures
8. Other duties as assigned

Candidates should possess the following requirements:

1. Ability to communite effectively in English (verbal and written)
2. Scripting skills including (Python, Perl, or Ruby) and Shell
3. Familiar with virtulisation technologies such as KVM and Xen will be highly regarded
4. Strong background in Linux Operating Systems
5. Some experience in administrating Windows Server
6. Relevant working experience in the area of Software Testing is a plus
7. Attention to details
8. Good initiative and fast-learning
9. Can work under high pressure and Can quickly adapt to different work
10. Java, C or C++ is a plus
11. Multi-lingual skill is a plus
12. Candidates involved in the Open Source community will be highly regarded
13. Solid knowledge of computer system architecture is a plus
14. Able to work > 3 working days per week for 6 months or longer
