一、 项目介绍
“Beijing Youth 2012” 是一个纵向研究项目，旨在捕捉北京八零后年轻人的生命历
程
的生活动态。
在2010年我们开始这个项目。那个时候我们在北京市采访了627名人士。
目前我们在北京进行一个回顾性的社会调查。我们打算采访900名人士关于他们向成年
过
渡的历程。为此我们开发了创新的研究工具。本项目将在北京市持续一年。为了进行此
项
目的社会调查，我们将使用CAPI技术 (computer-assisted personal interviewing).

二、 成员需求
1. 目前，项目组正式招募成员20名，具体要求如下：
2. 热情，有责任心，对工作上心，能够按时保质地完成项目各项要求。
3. 英语水平良好，可以听得懂与看得懂英语。
4. 在本学期与／或者下个学期每个星期能保证一定的项目参与时间（每个星期做
调查、
每两个星参加会议）。
5. 12月1日与2日参加培训班。
6. 社会人文类专业学生为佳；若为理工科学生，希望你对此项目较有兴趣，愿为
之投入
精力。（本、硕、博不限）
三、 所得收获
7. 参与此项目可给你一个参加全球性社会的调查的好机会。
8. 参与此项目可使你积累社会调查经验，增强与人打交道的能力。
9. 你可以跟外国学者在一个国际环境里工作，同时你可以拓宽视野，结交朋友。
10. 你可以利用此项目的调查结果作为其他社会调查或者学术研究的材料，甚至可
以组队
参加“挑战杯”等比赛，丰富在校期间的履历。
11. 在参与项目期间，无论是亲身调查还是进行数据的录入、分析，你都将获得一

Recruit for an international research project:
[Beijing Youth 2012] @ Beijing, China.
I. The project
“Beijing Youth 2012” is a longitudinal research project that aims to catch
the dynamics of the life-course of the young Chinese living in Beijing and
bo
rn in the 1980s.
The project initially started in 2010 with the survey of 627 people living
in
Beijing.
Today our objective is to conduct a retrospective cross-sectional study and
i
nterview 900 people living in Beijing on their transition to adulthood. For
t
his purpose we elaborated innovative research instruments. This research
will
last one year and be conducted in Beijing city. We will use the CAPI
(comput
er-assisted personal interviewing) technique to conduct the interviews. This
research design has been elaborated by Sandra V. Constantin who is also in
ch
arge of the conduct of the project in China. She is PhD candidate and also
te
aching assistant at the Institute of socio-economics, department of
sociology
, at the University of Geneva (Switzerland).
II. Who can apply?
We are looking for 20 strongly motivated candidates to conduct the
interviews
.
The applicants should:
1. be responsible and reliable: can finish his/her job on time and in a
good
quality.
2. have a good command of English: ability to understand oral and
written Eng
lish.
3. have enough time available every week to conduct interviews and
attend the
meeting every two weeks during one or two semesters.
4. be available December 1st and 2nd to attend the training session.
5. be interested in this project regardless of grades and majors.
III. What will you get?
1. This project will give you the opportunity to take part in an
internationa
l social investigation.
2. You can gain a great experience in the conduct and organization of
empiric
al research.
3. This work experience will give you the opportunity to learn from
foreign s
cholars, work in an international environment and make new friends.
4. You may use the results of this survey conducted in Beijing as a
material
in your academic studies or other researches. You can even use it to take
par
t in some competitions, such as the “Challenge” Cup…
5. You will receive generous financial benefits for conducting the
interviews
.
