QA Engineer Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design test and prepare test cycles;
Verify and report all the existing issues
Perform functional testing on new features
Report progress against assigned tasks
Perform regression testing before the app goes for release
Strategize and work with developers to enable end to end testing in a continuous integration environment;
Create all required test documentations;
Raise, record and retest defects
Provide a detailed report of the existing issues, which will include
app version and branch name

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Higher education in relevant field;
At least 2 years experience working in a QA role, ideally working within  mobile app environment;
A real passion and knowledge for latest developments of mobile platforms and technologies;
High level of quality assurance expertise working with industry standards tools
High attention to detail for finding/reporting bugs;
Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira;
Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player;
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong written and spoken English;
Experience in creating effective test cases;
Ability to work/communicate with different disciplines (tech as well as non-tech).
