English Web Service Developer

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing relationships with customers for solution initiation, planning, application architecture, implementation, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Web Service applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Work directly with media points and support teams to administrate signups and day to day response to questions/queries.
·         Provide client site walk through.
·         Widget Code build-up which enable display to mimic look and feel of website
·         Verify client’s landing page is suitable to widget integration
·         Filtering user content by industry, subject,  regional or special Categories
·         Handle Widget Code modifications at client’s request
·         Handle any reported Widget Display issues
·         Maintain reporting of Widget Master list
·         Build relationship with internal stakeholders from multiple areas of the business
·         Define and implement quality standards within the team
·         Responsible for the solution approach and sign off on solutions /technical  design as related to Web Services and content formats/metadata

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Manage Issues Escalation/Routing: Escalates issues as required for customer satisfaction and business needs.
·         Configuration Management: Provide input to ensure proper configuration management standards are met. Including the handling of deployments documentation for various QA and Production servers

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
·         Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
·         Excellent Hand-coding of HTML/CSS
·         1+ years write/debug JavaScript including Ajax
·         1+ years of working experience with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, etc and debugging tools (Firebug, etc.)
·         Knowledge of XML, JSON and Web Services
·         PHP object-oriented programming
·         Familiarity with one or more relational databases (e.g. MySQL or Oracle)
·         Able to construct optimized complex SQL queries
·         Familiarity with one web development on LAMP stack
·         PHP object-oriented programming
·         Experience working with Wordpress and modifying existing wordpress themes
·         Flexible and responsive in order to handle changing priorities.
·         Experience and credibility in liaising and engaging with customers
·         Multiple full project life cycle implementations in enterprise application architecture and business intelligence.
·         Strategic and innovative thinking
·         Natural problem-solver and troubleshooter. Expert problem solving skills
·         Be able to provide examples of work.

EXPERIENCE PLUSES:

·         Business analysis and process re-engineering skills
·         Experience with multiple PHP MVC Frameworks a plus
