2004 IEEE International Workshop on
Agent and Services Computing (ASC2004)
In conjunction with the
2004 IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2004)
Sponsored by IEEE Computer Society
With support of
Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China
E-Business Technology Institute, The University of Hong Kong, China
SHANGHAI, CHINA
September 15 - 18, 2004
Call for papers
The major goal of the workshop is to bring researchers, scientists from both industry and academics, and representatives from different communities together to study, understand, and explore agent technology for services computing. The workshop presents what can be achieved by two of the hottest technology areas: Agent and Services. The intelligent combination of Agent Technology and Services Computing can start off a technological revolution with the development of both the agent technology itself and the services computing. These technological advances can ultimately lead to a new breed of Agent-based architectures, basic theorems and applications for services computing.
2004 IEEE International Workshop on Agent and Services Computing (ASC2004) will be the first workshop sponsored by IEEE Computer Society Technical Community for Services Computing (TCSC) in collaboration with other technical committees in IEEE Computer Society and other organizations in the world. It will be held in Shanghai, China, September 15-18 2004 and in conjunction with the 2004 IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2004). ASC2004 provides a forum for researchers and industry practitioners to exchange information regarding advancements in the state of art in Agent Technology in Services Computing, to identify emerging research topics, and to explore the future directions of agent and services computing.
Topics of Interest
Submissions are invited that focus specifically on the challenges in applying agent technology in services computing. We invite researchers and experts of agent technology and web/grid service to submit original research papers as well as reports on work in progress related to Agent systems, Web services, Grid Computing, Mobile Computing and so on.
Suggested topics include but are not restricted to:
l Agent-Based Web Services
l Multi-Agent Systems & Services Computing
l Agent-Based Complex Systems Modeling and Development
l Agent-Based Simulation
l Human-Agent Interaction
l Learning and Self-Adaptation in Multi-Agent Systems
l Multi-Agent Planning and Re-Planning
l Social Interactions in Multi-Agent Systems
l Agent-Based Grid Computing
l Agent-Based Mobile Computing
