Rodriguez ruled out for Monaco

AS Monaco FC captain Julien Rodriguez will miss their crucial UEFA Champions
League fixture with Liverpool FC after suffering an ankle injury, while Lucas
Bernardi is a doubt

Surgery question
The 26-year-old full-back has suffered cartilage inflammation, and will
undergo further tests on Monday. The club said: "He will consult a specialist
to find out if surgery is needed."

Bernardi doubt
Rodriguez missed Friday's 3-1 defeat by FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, in which
Bernardi was taken off with a hamstring injury. Scans will reveal on Sunday
if the midfield anchorman can play against Liverpool, a game in which defeat
could end Monaco's hopes of progressing in the competition from Group A.
