Gilardino Opens Door To Real Move

The Parma striker has fuelled transfer speculations that he will be joining
the Spanish Giants at the end of the season.

Alberto Gilardino has been one of Real’s main targets since last summer, but
the player was not ready to move away from Italy back then. However, things
seem to have changed and when asked if he would join former Parma director,
Arrigo Sacchi, in Spain, Gilardino replied that a move abroad to Real is a
possibility.

“It might be a possible fact, in the sense that a move abroad to Spain has
always fascinated me. For now, however, I just think about doing well in
Italy which remains my priority.”

Gilardino has also been linked to a move to Milan and the Gialloblu player is
honoured to be considered by the current Italian champions.

“I’m honoured by Milan’s considerations towards me and in particular by
Ancelotti. In June we shall see.”
