THE POSITION

The Diesel Engine R&D Head will be responsible for all the process in the research & development area. The role will formulate and implement the product development projects; build up the system and platform as well as setting up the team.

Reporting to: Corporate Vice President  



RESPONSIBILITIES

"       Supervise and monitor the whole diesel engine product design & development process from structure design, technical details to the quality control.
"       Set up guidelines for complete engine & engine components design process
"       Provide advice and solution to technical problems encountered during the design, sample, production & testing stages
"       Coordinate projects with cross-functional communicating with testing, manufacturing, trials and validation teams, and other technical problems.
"       Supervise the R&D team to implement product development process and improve products' quality
"       Assist in training & developing of the R&D team

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION (Essential Personal Abilities/Aptitudes/Skills)

"       Bachelor Degree or above in engineering or other relevant field
"       Minimum 10 years' experience in the diesel engine field with 5+ years in off road diesel engine design & R&D
"       Solid expertise knowledge in diesel engine R&D or Product Development
"       A dedicated, energetic & hands-on leader
"       Executive presence, professional demeanor
"       Excellent attention to detail
"       Open minded personality
