JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), a top-ranking international
consulting company focusing on the energy sector and serving companies in
the energy industry, investment community and government agencies, with its
headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, US, is currently seeking a 6-8 weeks intern during summer time in its Beijing office.
The intern will be working with CERA’s China Energy research team, which is
responsible for CERA’s China focused retainer service and consulting
projects in the areas of oil, gas, coal, power generation and environment in
China.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizing historical economic, oil, gas, power, and coal data
- Assist in continuing to build CERA’s China automotive model and
contributing to the modelling process as well as data gathering.
- Support other ongoing research and consulting work of the China
Energy team and help frame research topics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent
experience
- Good general office computing skills (Excel, Word, Access, SAP)
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to details, and a strong
interest in the energy sector.
- Experience in the energy industry or energy consulting, preferably
with an oil background a plus
- Highly responsible and motivated.
